Senseless tragedy today, I can’t stand to even tune into the news coverage at this point. What I have seen glimpses of, overwhelming heartbreak. I needed this reminder that all hope is not lost in the crazy messed up world…
My thoughts are with everyone affected by this horrific tragedy in Boston.
My son and I were a mere block from the explosions today. Fortunately we left about 2 hours prior to meet my sister at her office for lunch before heading home to the western part of the state. I can’t bear to watch the news anymore either. I’m so grateful to be home safe. Thanks for sharing this Jacky.
Aimee, so glad you, your son and sister are safe!
That is so scary Aimee!! Glad you guys are okay!
I thought about you today. I didn’t think you were running but, since you didn’t get to run NY, I thought maybe you might be there. Such a nice day…a marathon, a patriotic holiday, the start of baseball season…and some douchebag has to ruin it for everybody. Sickening.
Sickening, exactly!
Thanks for sharing this Jacky – and yes, the good will always outnumber the bad!
Yes, thanks for sharing. Great post from Mr. Oswalt, I couldn’t agree more.
Glad you are safe. I am sure the huge swing of emotions was almost as exhausting as the run itself.
