As a parent you hope to pass along your wisdom to your children. You strive to instill good habits in them. Making their bed, doing homework on time, being polite. You turn failures into “teachable moments” and emphasis making smart decisions. Then there is a moment when you realize that despite your best effort some bad things have slipped through the cracks. The conversation with the four year-old this morning as we were pulling out of the garage is a perfect example.
me: This car is full of a bunch of junk.
him: It is a basement on wheels.
Speaks volumes about the state of basement, even after numerous purges. I swear the junk down there multiples when we are not looking.
He cracks me up!!
Oh my goodness, that kid is hysterical. I haven’t been on Twitter in forever, but I miss his Tweets!
