My nightstand is piled with books again. I am starting to dive in and already enjoying the first read. Here is what I plan to tackle this Summer. I’ll need more for the beach trip in August, what are you reading?
|
Orange Is The New Black My Year in a Women’s Prison By Piper Kerman |
The Yellow House By Patricia Falvey |
|
The Nine Rooms of Happiness Loving Yourself, Finding Your Purpose, and Getting Over Life’s Little Imperfections By Lucy Danziger and Catherine Birndorf |
|
The Heights By Peter Hedges |
|
|
Cocktails for Three By Madeleine Wickham |
By Jason Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson |
I just added the Nine Rooms of Happiness to my list, that looks REALLY good! I have SUCH a list!
Oh you need to add The Help, Scott is reading it now and really enjoying it, we will pass it to you!
The Help, I knew I was forgetting one! Thanks.
Very Ambitious. Every year I say I'm going to re-read Atlas Shrugged, but it just doesn't seem to be a beach book. Maybe this year, since most of my beach friends are gone.
I loved The Yellow House, it's a wonderfully well written historical novel. We read this for the Manic Mommies Book Club earlier this year (and discussed the book with the author, YAY).
Looks like a wonderful collection of books for summer reading. Enjoy!
