Not a stellar month for reading, though I did catch up on my magazines. Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese was this month’s book club pick. I had a heck of a time getting into it. I found myself putting off reading which is a sure sign I am not enjoying the book. It sounded so promising too but I just had very little interest in the main characters. After almost a month I am barley half way through it, I hope to force myself to finish it on my long flight next week. It was a split decision by the book club, half of us finished it and couldn’t put it down, the other half of us couldn’t get to the end. I can’t recall the last time I started a book and did not finish it.

I have to check out this Imbibe. . .I just put Water for Elephants on my Nook. My mom and sister loved it and it is a book club pick for April. The movie looks excellent as well.
Imbibe is an awesome magazine! Covers all things drinks, beer, wine, cocktails, tea, coffee. I read it cover to cover every month. Got if for Jeff for Christmas one year.
Oh no, Cutting for Stone has been on my wish list for quite a while now. I keep bypassing it for other books. Maybe that’s a good decision, lol. I very rarely don’t finish a book either, but once in a while it happens. I don’t know whether to get this book or not!
